Privacy

The checker does not send your figures to a server unless you e-mail them. Enquiries and, if you consent, statistics do. This page says who is responsible and what happens.

What we collect

Checker inputs stay in your browser and, if you choose, in the shareable result id in the page URL. We do not receive that URL unless you send it to us.
Enquiry form: name, work email, company, role, message, interest (partner or domain), optional checker result id, and your consent. The form posts to this website and is emailed to info@gardner-ag.com.
Cookies and statistics as described in the cookie policy. Functional cookie co2log_consent is always set after you choose. Statistics cookie co2log_id and the Plausible script load only if you accept statistics. We do not send checker answers to Plausible.

Why

Enquiries: your consent and, where relevant, steps prior to a contract (Art. 6 (1) (a) and (b) GDPR). We will not sell your address or pass it to a vendor without asking you first.

Functional cookies: strictly necessary (§ 25 (2) TDDDG). Statistics: consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG).

How long

Enquiry emails are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted, unless a live discussion needs them longer. Consent and statistics cookies expire after 12 months. You can ask for erasure sooner at info@gardner-ag.com.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent. Supervisory authority: Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (for Gardner AG). You may also complain to your local DPA or, in the UK, the ICO.
